A ceiling fan gets a new look a coat of stainless steel acrylic paint is applied to give it a rustic look reminiscent of old metal.
I sprayed using short strokes while trying just to get everything covered but not force the spray paint incase it went where it shouldn t go.

A few coats of paint can work wonders on an old ceiling fan and breathe new life into a room.
Take your ceiling paint and roll it onto one side of the fan blades.
Once it s ready to go spray the blades and or hardware pieces with a thin even coat.
Gently sand the blade to remove any burrs or bumps.
You can remove the fan from the ceiling and take it outside to spray paint or you can do what i did.
Before purchasing please ensure you have identified your fan s model number and upc to confirm compatibility.
Let the paint dry.

I then spray painted the parts that attached to the blades and also the screws that hold in the light globes the same silver.
Allow them to air dry.
You can also use stencils and stamps to create a unique pattern or design on the blades.
You could use generic liquid primer but this stuff is much less messy and goes on easier and more evenly.
