If mold or mildew is the culprit spraying with a bleach solution will remove it. With the ryobi chemical sprayer you just pop in a battery and turn it on. It s not uncommon to have a mildew problem on aluminum siding depending on where you live. Don t mix bleach with any cleaner that has ammonia in it.
